One Month

It is hard to believe that in one short month my book, Speak of the Devil, will be published. I feel like I could laugh, cry, scream and pee my pants all at the same time. It’s one of the scariest and coolest things I will probably ever do in my life. All I can say is that I hope you all love it!

The formatting on the inside is just as beautiful as the outside too. It’s just a labor of love that I am so proud of already.

On the continued journey to better health, I had my six-month checkups, and my kidney specialist is not very happy with my weight remaining stagnant over the last 6 months. News flash, I’m not either, Doc! He has challenged me to work up to walking at least 12 miles a week. With all the hours I’ve been working, it’s going to be tough to do, but I need to make time for it. The good news though is that all of my blood work came back good, so I just need to get back on the wagon and really focus on this goal so that my weight loss journey continues forward. Wish me luck!

The picture above is a current one just after I got my hair cut to donate to Wigs for Kids. They are a wonderful organization and it’s the second time I’ve donated my hair to them.

My next blog post likely will not be until my book publishes as I will be focused on my social media campaign and guiding my street team leading up to launch day, so you won’t be rid of me completely, my attention will just be focused elsewhere!
